The above DPM Recoil Reduction System works due to the multi spring intricate rod (three springs) effect like a brake on the slide, but only before stopping on the frame to the last 6 to 8mm of the movement.
In some cases, the DPM Recoil System offers almost double force in the slide full open position compared with the factory OEM spring, so the slide of the pistol touches the frame gently and offers less recoil to the pistol.
Further, the moving parts of the pistol are protected, offering longer life to the pistol.
Included with the system are 5 separate springs. These external springs are different in length (also in power) so the shooter can fine-tune the pistol on the opening and locking positions (slide on the battery) according to his/her personal standards. The longer spring (more coils) is stronger and has a heavier pound rating than the shorter springs.
The system also includes 2 different spring plugs. The spring plug with the marked groove is offering a heavier buffer effect and the spring plug with a flat surface offers a lighter buffer effect (slide full open position).
